Based in the U.S., Zeitgeist Studio was founded in 2020 by Mandy Wong, Jerry Chan and two other Hong Kongers across the world.
We are committed to create uncanny immersive narrative games resonating with the Hong Kong Asian diaspora, bringing our culture to international gamers. NAME OF THE WILL is our first commercial video game inspired by our homeland.
In 2021, NAME OF THE WILL ran a successful Kickstarter campaign, raising 170% of its funding goal with support from over 570 backers and earning a staff-picked “Projects We Love” highlight.
Since its development began in 2020, NAME OF THE WILL has been featured in internationally recognized publications, including Canard PC (France), Wired (U.S.), Welt (Germany), Den-fami Nico Gamer (Japan) and UDN GAME (Taiwan). Our team has also presented the game at events such as the Freeplay Independent Games Festival (Australia), SXSW (U.S.), and the Oslo Freedom Forum (U.S.).
